About

Picollo is an authentic Italian restaurant and pizzeria located midway up North Hill in Colchester. Located on the right hand-side if you are walking up the hill, or the left hand side, when walking down North Hill. Picollo boasts homemade food, starring many Italian favourites. In addition to the standard menu, each day showcases a new selection of special dishes, inspired by the head chef Salvo from Milan. His business partner Tito has been blessed with world class experience at the top restaurants throughout Italy, London and Paris.

Whether you are local to the area, visiting or coming in from overseas, Picollo provides truly authentic italian cuisine within an italian restaurant setting. We welcome you to come in and enjoy wonderful food, Italian style.

What are you open times?

We are open 5-10pm on Tuesday, 12-10pm Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, 12-11pm Friday and Saturday and are closed on Mondays.

Do you have parking?

Unfortunately, we do not have any parking spaces available. There are however, nearby parking locations.

Lovely little italian restaurant. We were met by the most cheerful and happy woman, gladly serving us and explaining whatever we wondered. The food was very tasty, with good value for money!
